懸垂線夾主要用于架空電力線路，通過聯(lián)接金具將導(dǎo)線、避雷線懸掛在絕緣子串上或?qū)⒈芾拙€懸掛在桿塔上。用瑪鐵和鋁合金兩種材質(zhì)制造。

懸垂線夾的懸垂角不小于25°，曲率半徑不小于被安裝導(dǎo)線直徑的8倍，對不同導(dǎo)線的握力與導(dǎo)線計算拉斷力的百分比值應(yīng)不小于下表的數(shù)值。
